The Blackfalds Bulldogs are pleased to announce the signing of 2005-born forward, Santeen Golja.
The Ljubljana, Slovenia product played for Lugano in the U20 Elit League in Switzerland last season where he scored 15 goals and 37 points in 44 games played. He also appeared in one National League game in Switzerland with HC Lugano. Golja stands at six-feet tall and weighs 198 pounds.
Bulldogs’ Director of Hockey Operations, Al Parada, said, “Santeen is a very highly skilled forward who has the ability to be a game changer. He plays the game the right way and can play centre or wing.”
Golja stated, “I am extremely excited to make a move overseas and I am looking forward to starting my new chapter as a Bulldog.”
Parada added, “Santeen plays with speed and has a high hockey IQ and we are looking forward to getting him over to Canada this coming season to be a part of our team next season.”
